Oh Tanzania! The Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, Mt. Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar, Lake Victoria - I don't know any place as magical and mysterious as Tanzania. There's no other sky as beautiful and no other smell like that of the sand after fresh rains.
I have such vivid impressions of the incredible people who I met in Tanzania -- mainly the Maasai, who live courageously and peacefully amid the world's most carnivorous creatures. When a traveler approaches them, they will ask for a lift to fetch water or smile with the deepest eyes you can imagine. Even with its many problems - health, poverty, education, and corruption, Tanzania - and the African continent - will survive.
I’ll never forget witnessing the extreme poverty of so many African people, and I’ll always admire them for their wisdom, courage and indestructible spirit. After reading why Bill & Melinda Gates gave the African Medical and Research Foundation the 2005 Gates Global Health Award, I was won over and became involved. People who come into contact with AMREF never forget it.
AMREF is Africa’s best international NGO. It saves lives. It fights HIV/AIDS and malaria. It helps families. It trains health professionals and communities. It shares its health solutions around the world.
The Flying Doctors began AMREF in 1957 using “the tools of their time”: a tiny plane that helped them save the lives of people who the world forgot about. AMREF is still an innovator – using aircraft, telecomm and telemedicine – but most of all it uses minds and hearts.
Looking at the world and seeing it again brand new
Natural Vision Improvement is the alternative to laser eye surgery! Aldous Huxley saved himself from going blind with Natural Vision Improvement, using the Bates Method. During my first months in the program, my prescription improved from -9.25 and -9.00, to -7.75 and -7.50! I am learning how to properly use my eyes, my brain, light sources and movement in a whole new way. I'm looking at the world and seeing it again brand new. And I'm feeling amazing about my life. For anyone who is remotely interested, choose Vision Education. It works and it will change your life.
No one can mistake that cherry flavor

Cherry Baby! No one can mistake that cherry flavor for anything else. Cherry Chapstick is my all time fave. And it keeps my lips nicely sealed.
