      12 October 2005

When I was in the market for my first new car, I wanted to be sure it was a vehicle that was affordable, dependable and stylish. Thankfully, a co-worker turned me on to the MINI, and I was in love. I'm so pleased with it, and I can't think of another car that would suit me so well!

      Chick-fil-A

      12 October 2005

Because of work, I have to eat fast food a lot. I know how unhealthy that can be, but I never feel guilty when I go to Chick-Fil-A. I mean, it's chicken! My favorites are the Chick-Fil-A sandwich, the Chick-n-Strips and the Chick-n-Strips salad.

      NPR - National Public Radio

      12 October 2005

I don't know how people do AM talk radio. Thank goodness for NPR! I appreciate NPR's intelligent programs. It's comforting to know that when I'm on the road and need to hear the news, I can just turn on NPR.

    • This is the best deli

      Zingerman's

      12 October 2005

This is the best deli, and you can find it in Ann Arbor, Michigan, or online! I love the chocolate cherry bread, which makes for a great gift. Food is the best thing to give as presents.

    • You won't be disappointed

      Spoon

      12 October 2005

Just great rockin' music from this Austin band. Get their CDs, "Girls Can Tell," "Kill the Moonlight" and most recently, "Gimme Fiction." You won't be disappointed.

    • One place to find out

      Internet Movie Database

      13 October 2005

If you're a film freak, you should know about the Internet Movie Database. Find out about a certain movie, director, actor, and then start cross-referencing. It's awesome to be able to go to one place to find out about any movie!

    • Fun and simple

      quotable cards

      13 October 2005

I love greeting cards, and I love quotations. Put them together, and you've got quotable cards! The quotes they use are witty and thoughtful, and the graphic design is fun and simple. I still like my Hallmark cards, but to stand out from the rest, buy a quotable card.

    • Incredible story-telling

      This American Life

      13 October 2005

Having worked in TV, I never thought much about radio until I decided to volunteer at the local public radio station. It is then that I began listening to This American Life, and I have loved it ever since. The program with its incredible story-telling has shown me that radio can be just as powerful as TV.

    • This pocket-sized digital camera is incredible

      D-snap

      09 December 2005

This pocket-sized digital camera is incredible. It is tiny and very slim, yet takes some pretty decent pictures for its size. I kept my D-Snap with me during the Toronto Film Festival and was able to snap a really cool photo of Madonna and Guy Ritchie on the red carpet. If you can afford a toy camera in addition to your good digital camera, you should pick up the D-Snap.
