    • Made us laugh for generations

      Adel Imam

      12 June 2007

A famous Egyptian comedy actor, this man may not be celebrated globally, but he will be. He has made us in the Middle-East laugh for generations, and every time when I get so sad when life turns ugly and boring, nothing yet can make me smile except him. His jokes are very smart and heart-touching. I hope to see his work translated into the whole world languages, to share very special moments of laughing together and feeling how some jokes could really change our life and our human senses and relations for ever.

    • He loved simple people

      Ahmed Zaki

      17 October 2009

The poor, black and orphan boy that sat on the back seats in the cinema, some day he will be one of the most important actors ever in Arabic history. The little boy that used to stay silent, observing world, embarrassed from others will perform the most important roles in Egyptian cinema: (Jamal Abdelnasir) and (Anwar Elsadat). Impersonating the two Egyptian presidents unbelievably. Very talented, very human, very generous to take his bag and distribute his money to the poor along the streets. That is Ahmed Zaki. Some Western filmmakers said Ahmed was the greatest actor in the Middle East. Ahmed Zaki fans believe that he would have the same majesty of Al Pacino and Roberto De Niro if he had being performing internationally. before he died, his son Haytham said: my dad suddenly struggled to to give me a last hug. God bless Ahmed as he loved simple people and lived for them.
