Absolutely adore Pat
Pat Kiernan
10 August 2005
I absolutely adore Pat's take on "In the Papers" and his banter with the some of the beat reporters. When someone else is on instead of Pat, I generally flip around the channels. It's too bad his reality game show was terrible (he was great, of course) because that would be a good venue for him as long as he is allowed to subtlety mock the contestants. I even named my blog NY 1 after his channel!
There is no substitute
Coca-Cola

Ok, I really believe Diet Coke should be a seperate Lovemark from regular Coke. My love is exclusively for Diet Coke, known as Vitamin DC around my house. I drink it with pizza the way one drinks wine with other foods. I used to take "Diet Coke breaks" from a job, since I don't smoke and thus cannot take cigarette breaks. I have relationships with people based on our mutual love for Diet Coke. There is no substitute.
I grew up on Kraft Mac & Cheese.
Kraft Macaroni & Cheese

I grew up on Kraft Mac & Cheese Deluxe (the kind with the squeezey cheese) and then in college re-discovered regular Kraft Mac & Chesse (the milk & butter have to be added). Both are a reliable source of comfort and nostalgia in a very tasty meal. I refuse to try fussy, organic mac and cheese (cough*Annies*cough) because mac and cheese isn't about being good for you. It's about the best memories from childhood and treating yourself to inexpensive decadence.
I still remember the tastiest bag ever.
M&M's

The perfect balance of chocolate and candy shell, M&Ms are one of the simplest but also one of the best candies ever. My mom and I are obsessed with holiday/seasonal bags of M&Ms. The sound of M&Ms pouring into a glass bowl means "party time" to me. I still remember the tastiest bag ever - I won it in a contest on a school field trip to Washington, DC. I have braved the Times Square Toys R Us twice for the new Mpire Star Wars M&Ms. Plain, mini, dark, peanut butter; all flavors I cherish. And of course I would never share the green ones when I was younger, but I've grown more generous with age.
