  Michael Jackson is a global icon for a bigger reason than just music or entertainment. He represents our nostalgic yearning for the innocence of childhood, and our continuous battle against it. This desire for the physical and emotional joy of youth crosses cultures, borders, and generations, making Michael Jackson the Pied Piper for the world. And his recent passing will not change this. To build or become an icon, you have to stand for something. And you have to fight for it with every fibre of your being. We will continue to be fascinated and inspired by Michael Jackson's story and the battle against the loss of "youth." That's why this icon can never die.
