Weezer is my favorite band. They play alternative post-grunge power pop and their infectious hooks are beyond that of any other band. Weezer are in a class all their own, ushering in the "Emo" scene and the "Nerd-rock" scene both seemingly by accident: Weezer's appeal and influence can clearly be seen.
