BookCrossing...is an online adventure. Meet People from around the world, trade, become penpals, and become friends. It makes the most of the potential that is held within the internet, global communication, global sharing, without all the complications found in P2P Sharing. There is no chance of copyright problems, as the books we share and trade, are our legal posessions. I expect to see this site grow and thrive, sharing, DVD's, CD, and Software as well as books into the future. Making people in Sweden, simply neighbors I haven't met yet! In this day and age it is rare to be Surprized, amazed, or thrilled... that seems to be something I left behind in my childhood. I have discovered it Again! Geocaching. It's a Sport, it's a form of Entertainment, it's Health Recreation all in one. Do you remember, searching for buried treasure as a child? You can again. You can find hidden Vistas, nearby secret parks, and prizes hidden in a hollow log. Feel like a kid again, and bring your kids along for the fun. Go Geocaching. Its the best exercise you'll ever get, because you won't realize you're working out until the Adventure is Over!

A new explorer to Ecademy, I wondered just how helpful this site of business connnections could be to a small business person like myself. So I took it for a test drive, so far I found the free side of it to be very helpful on a personal level allowing me to reach and speak to a personal Chef in the UK. I've had a hankering for Yorkshire Pudding (a lovemark) which I hadn't experienced since an exchange Student Friend of Mine made it over 25 years ago! It looks like this poor boy may find his pudding after 25 years thanks to Ecademy, Lovemarks, and a Personal Chef on the other side of the Ocean! Ecademy is for people, like Ebay is stuff , like Bookcrossing is for books and like Lovemarks is for Web Branding!

Silly Putty, that peculiar pinkish substance that bounces like a rubber ball is celebrating another milestone – its induction into The National Toy Hall of Fame. What other toy is a solid liquid, that exhibits properties of a solid and liquid at the same time. It needs no electricity, no batteries, and no assembly is required. It's a monster, a science project, a scuplture, a cartoon comic distorter, and much more. Discovered by accident, and set aside it continues to hold the fascination of children. I Love it!

The internet crystalized. PBS or Paperbackswap.com has come up with an old idea and crystalized it using the best points of the Internet to its advantage. Everybody reads. Everybody buys a few books. Everybody has a few books your finished with, and they sit on a shelf and gather dust. PBS has made it so I can look at 300,000 bookshelves and pick the book you don’t want anymore. You get Credit for a book on anyone of those 300,000 book shelves. Its a fantastic deal. I’ve saved close to 2,000 dollars over the past 4 years. Shake the dust off your old and new books, and get want you want to read for the price of postage. This service is free, but they say someday they might charge a yearly fee. I’d pay it.
