• Making the day a little better

  BookCrossing is such a brillant website. It really brings people together over the internet and in their communities to share their love of a good (or ridiculously bad) book. It is such an innovative creation, and it is amazing to see people all over the world participating. I have met a lot of wonderful friends, and discovered a lot of books that I can't believe I never found sooner. I really love BookCrossing, and it is just the most fun to see one of your "releases in the wild" actually caught. It seems to make yours and their day a little better.

  I never was a big "water drinker," eight glasses of water always seemed an insane amount to fit in one day! But once on a car trip I picked up a bottle, and I can't believe how clean and 'fresh' it tastes. I was hooked, and it really helped get me started on the way to better health. It's a bit pricey, but slowly I was able move on to less expensive choices. Some waters still have a funny taste, I think.... especially the taste of tap water, but at least I feel a lot healthier and I have an option.

  It seems like such an odd idea, but I love this channel! I think it helps introduce realistic cooking shows that really takes the intimidation out of home cooking. It helps bring more confidence in the kitchen, and more confidence in what you're willing to cook, and to try new foods. The shows are really up to date, and have a lot of ideas for families, like quick meals, and a lot of healthier ideas. Most of the shows are just flat-out entertaining, and they are adding a lot of non-cooking shows which make it a fun channel to have on all day. My current faves are Good Eats and Iron Chef.

  Finally a store with cute clothes and awesome prices! So affordable, but great quality too.There needs to be more of these stores, or at least online ordering. I've only been in the Chicago store on a trip, but I'm hooked.

  It's funny to see what sort of merchandise they can create in pink with a Hello Kitty theme, but even the littlest stickers and pencils just make my day. She is so cute, and Sanrio comes up with the best designs and themes. The items are all fairly affordable, and kids and adults love their items. I should know.
