    • Couldn't bear to be without it

      BookCrossing

      18 August 2004

I truly could not bear to be without BookCrossings! I love being able to share my books as well as receive books that I have wanted to read. I have made friends who are truly like-minded through BC, which is a true blessing. Also, there is a thrill to putting a book out into "the wild" for someone to discover. I absolutely love watching the face of someone who has found a FREE treasure, and the joy they express as they look around and then make the book their own.

    • Variety is the YAY of life

      BookCrossing

      18 August 2004

I adore this community - yes, it is a community, not just a website. I have met wonderful friends and have expanded my personal library. Actually, not expanded so much as brought more variety and really WANTED books into it. And there is so much FUN involved in leaving books in the wild! I absolutely love watching the face of someone who finds a book I have left out in the wild, and the joy they express as they slip it into a purse or pocket. YAY BOOK CROSSING!!! I love you!

    • My husband introduced me

      Boursin

      18 August 2004

My husband is from England but now is here in the USA, and he introduced me to this fantastic cheese. It is rich with garlic and herbs, melts in your mouth, and is incredibly decadent. I am THRILLED that you can now purchase it at Sam's! Boursin was created in 1957 by Francois Boursin, a cheesemaker in Normandy, France. Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs was the first flavored fresh cheese to be sold throughout France, and was soon followed by Boursin Pepper. Today, Boursin Cheese is a staple in the French kitchen, and is enjoyed by discerning food-lovers in some 35 countries on five continents.

    • No matter where you look

      Appalachia, USA

      18 August 2004

I have lived in many places, but a year ago my family and I moved to the heart of the Appalachian mountains, and I LOVE it here. There is beauty in the landscape no matter where you look, and the people are interesting and "real." I love the rich Irish and Scottish heritage and the music is addictive!

    • Apple-AT-cha

      Appalachia, USA

      21 August 2004

I wanted to say that the area where I live is in SW Virginia, which is fantastically beautiful. For those who don't know, the locals pronounce it Apple-AT-cha. That's the real way to say Appalachia!

    • Wonderful place

      PaperBackSwap

      02 November 2006

It is a place where you can swap paperbacks, hardbacks or audiobooks (doesn't have to be with the same person) free, just have to pay postage. Wonderful place to make friends as well as trade your books for books you really want! I have rec'd some really precious books that I'll keep to cherish.
