    • Just perfectly pretentious

      Moleskine

Moleskine notebooks, despite the price tag, are my Lovemark. Everything from the yellowed, smooth pages to its fraying, purple bookmark is just perfectly pretentious—in a good way. I was first drawn to them because they are, after all, the notebooks of Ernest Hemingway and Van Gogh. This is not to mention the million different varieties of the books—from ruled notebooks to watercolors, music notebooks to travel books—that keep me wanting (and needing!) more.

    • Unique style and great music

      The Hood Internet

The Hood Internet are DJs who remix two songs into one - typically an electronic song and a rap song. Since I had an hour commute to work, they soothed my road rage with mash-ups of "Fix Up, Look Sharp" by Dizzee Rascal and "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper. I was too busy singing along to even be angry at the other drivers. They always offer new perspectives on old favorites, and help me find new music. Their unique style and great music ensures they will always have a spot on my iPod.

    • By far my favorite

      Seoul, South Korea

I've studied abroad and seen some of the greatest cities in the world, but Seoul is by far my favorite. While the people did stare at me because of my red hair and pale skin, everyone was incredibly friendly, the architecture is gorgeous, and the city is always full of amazing brands and things to do - like sing karaoke - and it is one of the only places I desire to go back to because of the rich Buddhist culture mixed with modern amenities that we lack in the United States.
