• A 'coke life'

  The Coke bottle has been a symbol of nostalgia in my family for ages. I live in Karachi, Pakistan, where coke is available everywhere. I have been travelling to Lahore, (another city of Pakistan) for the past few years and every time i have been there, havent been able to find coke anywhere. I guess the reason is that Pepsi has a better distribution and is available there. Last year when i travelled for some work i went to a restaurant with my friends and when the time came to order drinks i simply ordered water thinking that Coke will not be available, much to my surprise, a friend of mine ordered a diet coke and it struck me and i inquired if they have regualr coke as well, and they said yes. My trip to lahore became a memory since that day and now whene ever i got to Lahore i find coke every where from restaurants to stores and even at my friend's place. It is indeed a 'coke life'.
