Thanks for the okay product and for the worst buying experience I have ever had in my life. Bike Friday's service is amoung the worst I have ever seen. From the owner I dealt with to the sales rep. I am still dealing with the product problems I purchased when I paid $2500 for each of the customized bikes. I did find one great employee and do like the convience of this bike, but those 2 positives cannot offset the numerous negatives/problems!
Very happy with my XC70 '02. Unfortunately, the dealership I have to deal with is terrible and the European Delivery program, which is a great offer, was riddled with problems, which was experienced by six other parties I talked to when dropping my car off at the factory for shipment home. Volvo's response to my long list of problems? No response from upper management.
My 02 MCS is fantastic. I would buy another, however I am not impressed how Mini allows California dealers to gauge customers. Had to buy mine out of state. Plus, when I call customer service to inquire about the European Deliver option that they have been working on since the Fall of '01, they give you no info on its status and give you bogus excuses for its delay! Five of us wait patiently for it and will not buy otherwise.....mmmm may have to look for another make? Certainly like the MINI Cooper S and would buy it over and over again!
I have experienced all of their services from insurance to financial services. After having many transactions over the years with USAA, I now shop elsewhere. All due to their a problem with service and a problem with prices.
BF fails at customer service! From there hush hush recall in 2004 with problems of failing seat tubes to ordering a bike with incompetent bike order specialists. Even trying to order simple replacement tires/tubes becomes a problem for BF. Understand that these problems start from the top down. When approached they will say they don’t want your business if you don’t like it!! Upgrade parts in building your custom bikes? You will be charged MSRP. Unheard of in the bike industry from a bike builder.
Two positives not enough

I have found my new favorite flavor, "Habenero"! Wow, good stuff, but I can't find a place to buy it! Just had it at a restaurant! Darn.
