I don't remember much from my family first vacation, but one thing that stuck was the brand on my luggage: Samsonite. I pointed at it and asked him why he chose the black luggage. His response: because it's the best. Ever since I haven't even considered another brand; I have them in all sorts of sizes and for me Samsonite still means durability and style, reminds me of my dad and adds a little bit of vacation to my business trips.
