  Chie Mihara is a shoemaker extraordinaire. Born in Brazil to Japanese parents she is now based in Spain. I first came across her a few years back in a tiny boutique in Barcelona. There was a pair of what I can only describe as ‘sexy secretary’ heels that looked like shoes I'd dreamed about but had never actually found before. Trying them on I was instantly converted - this woman makes shoes that feel as they've got clouds in the soles. A dozen (or more, but who's counting) pairs later and you can now find her shoes in luxe department stores and boutiques around the world. She doesn’t do ‘killer heels’ but the stuff of dreams. She gives you a natural, I-don’t-need-to-even-try sensuality. I’ve never NOT had a compliment or felt like a million dollars when I wear a pair.
