    • A marketing invention

      Apple

      18 September 2007

I love to "hate" Apple because it is a marketing invention, that is beyond anything that anyone ever imagined possible. Hence, in a time when everyone was resorting back to unnecessary "oldies", Apple came along and caused an adverse affect on the market...which should keep "ingredients" of the past, but always continue to change so that we are always progressing into the future.

    • Bitter sweet

      Snapple

      18 September 2007

Snapple hits a "bitter sweet" spot to me because it was a drink that my three ex-best friends and I all shared and it brought us together in high school. For what reason, you ask: none other than those amazing "random" quotes on each Snapple lid. Quite possibly, Miami is one of the most diverse and ecclectic place on the Eastern coast - at least in my opinion...therefore, the most significant random quotes that had nothing to do with the usual "partying" added significance to the tasty and always fabulous drink that was consumed by many "Miamians," not for the fact that it had random quotes, but it was like 5 calories!

    • The only money I would spend

      Agent Provocateur

      18 September 2007

Agent Provocateur is about the only money I would spend on any lingerie. Basically lingerie is essential to all women and therefore any "garment" that promotes "understated" sexuality - granted it’s not worn like Christina Aguilera or Britney Spears - is pretty much amazing. If there is one item, being from Miami - where you live in bikinis that I would promote - it would be worthwhile lingerie.

    • Back to a stage in my life

      Altoids

      18 September 2007

Altoids not only are my mom’s favorite calorie-less item when I was younger, but at the same time, it made your breath smell good?! Now, what could good breath possibly equal in an innocent girls mind - none other than a pre-adolescent love for anything not sexual or adult. Hence, in a world that is illuminated with intense sexual activity - whether it be in Miami or in the tabloids, Altoids are a way for me to enter back to a stage in my life that evoked "reality".

    • Sensory recollection

      Breyers

      18 September 2007

"Breyers" ice cream spurs a little more nostalgia mixed with a feeling of...well, simply put - it isn’t the best ice cream I’ve had...and I’ve had a lot of ice cream!! But, the thing that always pulls me to a scoop of B"reyers" is well, my mom and grandma have always served it on Thanksgiving holidays. So, once again, it is about sensory recollection to a piece rather than distinct taste.
