  Coming from an ownership history of 4x4s, I must say I love the Ford Focus 2007 European version hatchback! The exterior and interior styling, materials and thoughtfulness is outstanding! For the price it feels much more luxurious than it seems. The engine is a 1.6 Liter (perfect size for Cyprus where I live) and it still chirps the tires when pushed! SOund system is above average and pumps base when needed! Great buy and ride!

  I got a used pair of XLs in 1984. Having used various brands before, I was always disappointed in the lack of connection I had with the skiis via the ski boots. Lange change all that! They are biometric in design around the foot and to this day still give the performance skiers lust after. I just wish they continued to make larger sizes (12-13) US. Still love em though!

  I have been using Apple since the Apple II, utilizing Logo and Pascal! SO THERE! Flippancy aside, I love Apple products. It does not matter that I am an Industrial Designer myself, and just gravitate to the products, it is the holistic approach to the design and user interface. Also they are so clean!

  All my best to A&F as a company. However, I don't get it. This white Anglo Saxon romanticism is so 1990. I would much rather wear Hugo Boss, or think pink for that matter. And I AM preppy!

  YP cannot be a brand - it is a sociological and cultural institution! My memories are made up of my father (actual Yorkshireman) pining for the day we had roast beef with YP!

  Lat time I was home in California, I was SO disappointed in my local Whole Foods. They removed so many of my favorite items from stock! I cannot support that.

  I found this restaurant located underground in a dodgy backstreet near the intersection of Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street. You walk down this dark alley and in a cul-de-sac see the soft but sparkling glow of lights leading to the entrance of this wonderful place. It is a high end Chinese-Pacific rim fusion restaurant. Dare I call it that, it is an experience! The interior is a mixture of modern and Chinese design. The clientele, I have never been in a place where I was able to look around the room and see so many well known people in one place (Liz Hurley was there!). The food is impeccable, and the drinks divine! Afterward, you can ask for a Mercedes cab, or stumble across Tottenham Court Road to get the Tube. It is where I took my wife on one of our first dates, and still continue to since we have gotten married. Remember to pack your wallet though! If you want a more casual experience, the owner has a noodle house (really top notch) off Carnaby Street called Cha-cha moon. Very good prices as well.
