  G. Henle is a German publisher of classical music. I have always preferred G. Henle for piano music. There are no editorial additions beyond what the composer originally wrote (to the best of scholarly knowledge). The pages are uncrowded - that is they don’t try to cram as many staves to the page as possible. So the music is easy to read, add fingerings to and annotate. And every Henle edition has that lovely, understated slate blue cover, with the characteristic Henle typeface, and the Henle monogram. You grow more connected over time with each edition, marked as it is with your thoughts and notes on interpreting the music - it becomes uniquely your own.
