He has established himself as a most successful Superstar-Actor-both as a romantic hero and a most versatile serious actor, who can perform emotions and inner feelings with depth effortlessly. He ruled Bollywood like no one else before as well as after him. His class movies like Anand, Aradhna, Dushman, Haathi Mere Saathi, Amar Prem, Avataar, Prem Nagar, Amar Deep, Dard, Babu, Amrit, etc., etc., etc. got him a place of honour in Indian cinema’s hall of fame in such a manner that nobody can be matched with him in terms of balancing artistic and commercial aspects simultaneously.

These are in addition to his classic facial expressions which emerge effortlessly on his face and the style and arrogance brought by him on the silver screen. The rigorous use of his voice to communicate a character’s lines and express emotion, which he achieved through attention to diction and projection through correct breathing and articulation. It has also achieved by him through the tone and emphasis that an real actor puts on words. Characterization/Physicalisation of a role in order to create a believable character for the audience and to use the acting space appropriately and correctly. Use of gesture to complement the voice, interact with other actors and to bring emphasis to the words in a play, as well as having symbolic meaning.

We started watching movies with Aradhana, Haathi Mere Saathi, etc. since our school days and still feel that the natural instinct of class touch of Rajesh Khanna’s honest performance still ruled our mind and heart simultaneously. Nobody can live the characters in such high extent like him. So this Lovemark to the real and genuine super talent, who in spite of his aloofness from us lives in our heart forever.
