• Enjoying the most satisfying cup of coffee

  I learned about this fresh-roasted coffee in the Rural Electric Association of Texas magazine back in 2004. The coffee is roasted only once your order is received and shipped directly to your home. For 2 years we've been enjoying the most satisfying cup of coffee imaginable - bar none! Tried other subscription service of name brand coffees which are good, but Tim's Coffee outshines them. Never had a disappointment in quality or service. Makes me want to start up a coffee house.

  Our daughter introduced us to this musician. I never thought about listening to reggae or hip hop music - it was outside of my comfort zone and ’not my type’ of music. But since listening to Matisyahu’s Shake off the Dust, Arise and Live at Stubbs, I’ve become hooked! His music is upbeat and the message is so positive. I feel drawn into the thoughts and want to pay close attention rather than letting it be background music. I’m glad our daughter believed I would enjoy the music. I hope Lovemarks readers will look into his music and enjoy and be pleased they ventured out of their comfort zones.

  To see people pulling together for one another, people facing huge odds not giving in or up, strangers going out of their way to make someone’s life a little better - it’s just too overwhelming sometimes. It’s more than Ty and the design team. It’s the neighbors and the strangers that come together to do the impossible. The best use of TV ever. Goes to show there’s a lot more good going on out there than there is bad. Gives you hope.

  Want to snack healthily? Try olive tortilla chips from FoodShouldTasteGood. A most tasty and satisfying chip and not bad for you. Happened upon it at Brookshire's Grocery store (thanks for stocking it!) in Denton Texas. I truly enjoy (love is only for people) 'healthy chips' like blue corn chips etc and finding this brand has broadened our choices considerably. Have only tried the one flavor but they list a total of 7 on the package. AND!!!! they're non-GMO chips so that is very GOOD. Also, we need healthy competition for the other 'not-so-good-for-you' mega company, so please, check these out folks! I'm tempted to hide these from my hubby, but....they deserve to be shared.

  Ivory is my favorite dish soap brand. It does the job well, doesn't smell and the suds last a long time. Good choice for Lovemarks!

• They have the absolute best

  Okay, I wasn't in love with living in Oklahoma since I knew that Minnesota was in reality the best place in the world to live. But once we discovered Braum's Ice Cream stores, I had to change my story. Oklahoma would do, because they have the absolute best ice cream, butter, milk,cheese and freshest eggs available at OKC based Braum's. Always good, always dependable. And not as expensive as the grocery store. Nice place to take the family for dessert. Quick stop for groceries for supper or breakfast. Simply the best. Only thing is that they have gone the way of other manufacturers - the ice cream cartons are only 3 pints, not a full gallon. But the ice cream is more cream than air and full of taste. We know we're in 'civilization' when we can find a Braum's to stop at while on a road trip!

  YES!! Just discovered Teavana at North Park Mall in Dallas. Neat teapots and mugs, delish teas and helpful staff. I'm a coffee drinker by habit and preference, but Teavana makes variety a delightful option. One to look forward to and share around. Thoroughly enjoyable teas.
