I remember an American friend coming to visit, and trying vegemite for the first time, she spread it onto toast like jam. After the first mouthful glued itself to the roof of her mouth, she flung the remainder out the kitchen window - of course, it flipped midair, and landed on the roof of my car where it stayed for the few hours she was visiting. I remember an American friend coming to visit, and trying vegemite for the first time, she spread it onto toast like jam.
