Epitomy of elegance
Audrey Hepburn
03 March 2006
I love this Lovemark, she is the epitomy of elegance and grace. Who could have forgotten her in 'Roman Holiday' and 'Breakfast at Tiffany' not me.
Has not left my wrist for the last 20 years
Rolex
04 March 2006
In 1973 I saw a watch I really liked on the wrist of a friend. I asked him what make it was and my friend looked at me as if I came from Mars. Compassionately, he said "a Rolex". Since that day I have worn no other watch but a Rolex. The one I currently wear, a GMT, has been so much part of me that it has not left my wrist for the last 20 years. Since then I’ve seen lots of good looking watches, but none could be as much me as my Rolex. I just love it.
I had the great chance to meet Pele
Pelé
04 March 2006
I worked in Brazil in 75 as a creative in an ad agency. This is when I had the great chance to meet and shoot films with Pele. He was just wonderful, human, simple, a very kind man. After the shoot, he gave dedications to everyone present and let himself have photos taken with him. I have one myself. But the thing I really cherish is the football we shot our films he gave me with on which he wrote "A Jean Manuel com amizade do Pele". Whaoo!!!
I'm still grateful to them whem I see it everyday
Eiffel Tower
04 March 2006
Do the lovers of the Eiffel tower know that it was meant to be dismantled after the Universal exposition of 1889? It was saved by the French military who decided to keep it standing in the heart of Paris because it was the highest point for the new thing called radio. I'm still grateful to them whem I see it everyday, standing and shining from the windows of my apartment.
I own one and I would not trade it
Fiat
04 March 2006
Fiat is a fine automaker, but their masterpiece is the unique and lovable Fiat Cinquecento of the 60's. I own one and I would not trade it for any of the sleek cars in the world. Its Milan licence plate with MI in orange on black background matching its color is just perfect.
I love him because he was an idealist
Che Guevara
04 March 2006
I love him because he was an idealist. As a son of a Cuban mother, I don't share what became of his ideal. Do people know that he was called the "Che" for the way he pronouced words because he spoke Spanish with an Argentinian accent?
