To me it's an underated cultural treasure

It was my favourite part of Auckland before I even knew its name. The multi-cultural, ever-changing face of the streetscape has never failed to make me feel at home and it's one of the few places I really feel I belong. I've lived there, been kept awake all night by the traffic and the buskers, danced in the clubs and seen the street wake up to the morning. To me it's an underated cultural treasure of the city. Does it have my loyalty beyond reason? You bet.
