  • He has a warm place in my heart

Having visited Strawberry Fields in New York City and growing up listening to The Beatles at family functions, he has a warm place in my heart. Whenever I see his round glasses and long hair in a photo, I cannot help but remember my childhood and how I will always be a "dreamer".

  • His songs will live forever

Give peace a chance! His songs will live forever and I wish he were still here today to write more of them.

  • Crazy and honest

I LOVE JOHN LENNON!!!!! Mmm ok I've taken a breath and I'm okay now. But honestly, John Lennon... he was so witty and funny and crazy and honest and just a genius, pure and simple. He was the one who started the Beatles, and he wrote amazing music. His personality is just so refreshingly REAL and completely unlike celebrities these days, who are groomed to act a certain way. John Lennon wasn't like that. He said what he thought and he meant it. John Lennon is fantastic.

  • Joyful

What can I say about John Lennon? Words seem inadequate. He represents all the best to me: intellect, charity, generosity, courage, political conviction, passion. I first fell in love with Lennon because of his music with the Beatles, then I read a few biographies on him and became interested in his musical collaborations with Yoko Ono. I love him because his music makes me feel joyful. A sign that he meant a lot to me occured recently when I saw a pic of he and John Kerry together during the anti-war protests and I said outloud, "That does it! I'm voting for Kerry!"

  • Brain of the Fab-Four

John was the (critical) brain of the Fab-Four, another Lovemark, and he presented us already in 1971 the Lovemark requirements with his little known song "Crippled Inside": You can shine you're shoes - And wear a suit You can comb your hair - And look quite cute You can hide your face - Behind a smile One thing you can't hide - Is when you're crippled inside
