Gallo beer
Gallo is a light lager brewed in Guatemala City by Cerveceria Centro Americana. It is the oldest beer in Guatemala, dating back to 1896.

A moment to remember
I proposed to my fiancee with a beer "rooster" in my hand and she accepted. From that moment whenever we had Gallo we remember that moment.

Gallo is part of our culture
Simply, Gallo is part of our culture. Many times we call a beer "Gallo" instead of "Beer". That’s what a powerful brand can do.

I can testify that it IS great beer
I'm sitting in an internet bar/cafe in Antigua ("El Cafe Viejo") sipping on a cold one right now. I had my first last year and when I returned to the states. I thought it must have just been the atmosphere. But now that I'm back in chapin-land I can testify that it IS great beer. It's sold in the states under the name "Famosa" (I guess Earnest and Julio Gallo didn't let 'em use the name!)

Helped bring me and my soulmate together
I have so much about Gallo on my heart. I do not know how to possibly put into words anything that would do this godsend justice. This smooth, burnt citrus flavor helped bring me and my soulmate together one night this summer. We had the time of our life in the city of Antigua and owe a great deal of gratitute to Gallo. Gallo has made a lasting impact on my life
There is one night upon which Gallo has made a lasting impact on my life. While in Antigua, I spent the night at a bar with 4 incredible people! The night was spent listening to a Spanish bad attempt American songs, taking shots of tequila and sipping on Gallo. Though not usually a beer drinker I must admit, I loved it and now search high and low in the States to find this beer to help me remember the best night of my life in the small bar in Guatemala with beautiful people whom I love.

Boils down to a great product
Yeah! Gallo es la mejor cerveza! We Guatemalans are proud of this 100+ year old brewery and cultural icon. The brewery works hard to keep up the quality of its beer and progress as a company, and that is partly why they have been able to retain the lion's share of the market. It boils down to a great product.

Nada como Guatemala, nada como Gallo
This is a local beer in Guatemala, but is the best in the whole world and has been recognized internationally. It represents tradition (more than a century of experience) and passion in our country. By supporting social and sports activities, they also win our respect and goodwill. We're very proud of Gallo - "Nothing like Guatemala, Nothing like Gallo"!
