Genuine emotion

I visited George FM in Auckland in 1999. New Zealand's answer to a commercial radio scene that is totally devoid of genuine emotion. All the emotion on most of the commercial stations is staged, hyped or unbelievable. George is simply brilliant and I am surprised it hasn't been copied in other parts of the world - yet.

Lulls me into reality

I wake up to George FM everyday. From that moment, when Peter Urlich's ever-happy, effervescent nature, combined with funky, upbeat house tunes, lulls me into reality, I try to listen whenever possible throughout the day. "Enemy of Average" - their witty, young at heart presenters and fine taste in music have made my days infinitely brighter since tuning in.

A personallity that's full of love

This seemingly small on size but big on heart & soul inner-city radio station has transformed the spirits of many a New Zealander, both in our fair shores, and abroad via the Internet. George has what many radio stations don't possess, a personality that's full of love. George really do care about their listeners, and it shows because their brand is continually gaining listener-ship. GeorgeFM is taking their sound and their Love global, but keeping it local!
