My salvation in times of deep distress
"Free yourself from mental slavery; none but ourselves can free our minds..." Redemption songs these words have been my salvation in times of deep distress; just the knowledge that our own thinking is the source of our suffering is priceless; it puts responsibility for our lives fairly and squarely in our hands and returns our power. Thanks Bob.

I really appreciate the songs he wrote
That thing he does is adorable, sweet, crazy, loud and honest. I really appreciate the songs he wrote for the entire world. It was his birthday yesterday!

He made realize that I needed to change
What can I add about this man that hasn’t already been said?! So, rather than trying to qualify his importance for the rest of you, I’ll tell you what he means to me personally. There was a time in my life where I was straying from what’s important, you know, going down a really bad road. Then I discovered this man’s message. He made realize that I needed to change and make friends with the Creator again. Is he a prophet? I can’t speak for anyone but myself, but to me, he is and his message and music helped save me. JAH love!

Helps me to do work
I love Bob Marley's Reggae music because it helps me to do work which I don't like so much. Here's my tip: raggae rhythm is the best while cleaning the house.

His music makes me feel good
Bob Marley's music has had a major impact on my life. When dealing with personal tragedy his music and his message of love and liberty has helped to give me a sense of personal strength and a renewed hope for humanity. Although Bob was only with us for a short time he continues to impact people's lives in a positive way with his message. I am thankful for Bob's tireless hard work throughout his life. His music makes me feel good. I've got hundreds of cds and I find myself listening to Bob's music most of the time.

Bob was and is magic
Easily the most influential musician the world has seen. Bob Marley's short, but amazingly prolific, career left an indelible mark on music history. He is recognized on every continent and has a devoted following a quarter of a century after his death. From hard-edged political agitation, to brooding romantic love songs, Bob was and is magic.

Teaching a way of life
Bob Marley used a genre of music to teach a way of life. He is a lyricist and a politician. An artist and an activist. There are moments in my life that will always be Bob Marley moments. Those moments will never be truly complete with Coldplay, Counting Crows, Eric B. and Rakim, Otis Redding, or even Peter Tosh. They are Bob Marley moments, and always will be. And that is at the core of what a lovemark is. Loyalty beyond reason.

I'm swaying to the lyrics and feeling Irie
Bob Marley unites people through his music, his voice, and his words. Not all of us like reggae, but we all know and Love Bob Marley. A lot of my 'first times' included Bob's music. If I am ever feeling down or a in a funk, I put Bob on, and pretty soon I'm swaying to the lyrics and feeling Irie. Bob Marley lifts my spirits because he is a positive man. I believe he is a Lovemark because I feel the Love when I think of him. His music and his message is timeless. Bob is the quintessential Reggae Lovemark.
