I've grown to love it as a resource
Altrec is one of the few places on the Web that has combined inspiration with activation. They are focused on those who love outdoor sports and do indeed sell the associated products, but isn't overly hard sell. The fact that they let you rate the products they sell (I've tested them with a bad review and they posted it!) is a huge deal. I've grown to love it as a resource - whether I'm looking for gear or a place to use it, Altrec.com is where I start.
