And those old memories

Lilly Pulitzer is a once and again classic upscale (preppy) clothing line that caters to the "smart casual" lifestyle everywhere from Palm Beach to Barbados to Bermuda to Montauk. Her colors are island brights and happy tropical and fun softened by a conservative style and cut. I grew up in Bermuda and Long Island and the Summers were flavored with my Mother wearing Lilly Pulitzer from the beach to the terrace for cocktails in the evening. This line is a classic that invokes in me a lifestyle and those old memories. These are being recreated for a new generation. When I see a Lilly pattern on anything it warms my heart.
