One of the most trusted brands
In a world where the mp3 has completely destroyed the sense of "album" or label, Warp still stand alone. Admittedly, they aren’t as strong as they were but they were (and for the most part) still are a record label where you’ll simply buy the next release based on the strength of the name alone. It’s one of the most trusted brands I’ve ever come across. Just say the words "Warp Records" to any music fan and I guarantee you an emotional reaction of some sort. Lovemarks don’t come more loved up than this!

Not another label comes stronger
Warp Records is the friend a high school or college student meets when standing in line at graduation. Perhaps the two had shared nervous glances 4 years back at freshman orientation; perhaps not, but then, right there, in those thirty seconds or so of conversation a friendship is formed, experiences are shared. And we all know the regret that comes with wondering how much sweeter a life with Warp would’ve been had this friendship formed sooner. For it seems at times, not another label comes stronger. Those times come frequently with a Warp Records release, and most frequently with those by artists like!!! Boards of Canada, Broadcast, Grizzly Bear, Jamie Lidell, or Maximo Park.

Purveyors of ripe 'n' juicy musical fruits ready for my plucking and an endless resource of tip top talent. Home of Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada, Autechre, Squarepusher, Plaid, Vincent Gallo, Nightmares on Wax, Sabres of Paradise and many more of the artists that adorn my CD cases and record sleeves. The artists held by this label communicate alot to a perfect stranger about an induvidual. Over the years my purchases from them have morphed collectively into a biographical snapshot of my changing musical tastes.
