Only thing keeping me from despair

The only thing that keeps us sane in a world of turmoil is our ability to laugh at it. The more bizarre the world becomes, the harder it is to create humor that cuts to the bone of the chaos and finds the real marrow. The only comedic force capable of realy doing the job is the Firesign Theatre. For over 30 years, they've produced a catalog of exquisitely crafted surrealist comedy albums that will still be listenable decades from now. Firesign Theatre has kept me sane since I was at college in the early 70's and they are still the only thing keeping me from despair in the face of the relentless idiocy of 21st century political madness. Thank god for them.
