  • Jesus Christ really did save me from death

Jesus Christ really did save me from death. I had suffered from depression for 12 years and was going to commit suicide. I prayed and peace invaded my entire being. I owe my life to Him. I could never live without Him. Thank you Jesus for what you have done for the world. Thank you for loving the lost and the lonely and the unloved. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for saving me.

  • He gives purpose and flows with life

Jeus Christ has changed my life, I love brands, I love marketing and I love the idea that a brand, a business can actually have an emotional effect, a connection with its customers - that is the ultimate goal. But in business, in life, nothing can compare to the different Jesus has made in people's lives - more then just a feel good moment, a short term pleasure - He gives purpose and flows with life, thats the kind of label I want to have on my life.

  • When did Jesus become a brand ?

When did Jesus, our Lord, become a brand that could be bought or sold in the marketplace? I think the man himself would have a thing or two to say about the money changers in the church. Please don't take his name in vain.

  • Too far

Unfortunately, I think you may have gone too far on this "Love" mark thing, if I can even call it that. I don't think God is going to take too kindly to you equating His Son and His Son's brutal death and what He sacrificed for each and every one of us to "Jif" or "Jennifer Lopez" or "Jack Daniels" or "Jean Paul Gaultier" (and this is just the J's!!!).

  • Here for one reason

My life is a testimony to how important His teachings are and His example is. Although we may feel that His legacy is unattainable. Remember, He was here for one reason - you. Armies have marched, governments have been broken, countries have fallen and lives have been re-claimed in His name. All in His name. And throughout it all, He still remains. His story, His message, His legacy, more critical today as it ever was.

  • Praise the Lord

Jesus is the one thing in my life I can count on. He will always be there for me. Praise the Lord. I thank Jesus for helping me throughout every day.

  • Resonance to Nietzche's comment

I wonder what Jesus would have made of his being nominated as a brand! The fact that he has been, and currently hangs two spots below the Pope, three below George 'Burning' Bush, and one up from Rebecca St. James, only adds resonance to Nietzsche's comment - that 'there was only ever one christian, and he died on the cross'. I am amazed that people who claim to venerate Jesus and his vision stoop to this sort of superficial commodification. Now they will have to keep refreshing their position, as if feeding a Namaguchi; otherwise he will sink below Coca Cola, Nike and the other modern idols celebrated here. Blessed are the bland, because they are easily duped. And I hope I win the kitchen whizz!

  • Respect everyone

I definitely don't feel that the only way to heaven is through this man, or even god. Believe in your heart what truly, and rationally I might add, is right, and that is the way. But I do respect Jesus for the things that he taught. To love our enemies, to respect everyone, to show compassion.

  • Anything else I could live without

This is the only nomination that could possibly stand up to the standards of a "Lovemark". Anything else I could live without. But I can't live without Jesus.
