In the end we always go back
As a Balinese my self, I love to spend a quiet evening, watch the sun down by the sea line as I sat on the cliff. In the distance "kecak dancers" chant their war song for the tourists by Uluwatu Temple. No matter how far away we are from home, in the end we always go back, to our root, our temple.

'The Island of the Gods'
Ku De Ta is an assault on the senses, part restaurant, part bar, part lifestyle. As you walk up the smooth granite stairs and enter the dark teak wood bar and restaurant you look out through the open veranda across the mirror like ornamental pond that separates the property from the perfect white sand of Seminyak beach... and you can really begin to understand why Bali is called 'The Island of the Gods'. As lunch drifts into dinner and the sun begins to drown over the sea, the candles are lit, the palm trees are illuminated and the Balinese ornamental flags flutter in the dying wind, you find yourself thinking... it doesn't get better than this... and it really doesn't.

A great escape even in the midst of ot all
After going to different parts of the world, Bali is still my favorite island. Coming out from the airport you already smell something sweet, I guess it's from the flowers offering for the gods. No wonder the gods have been so kind. Bali has beautiful beaches, friendly people, great restaurants, enchanting art galleries and wonderful shopping. Everyone is into Bali for different reasons. In Bali, you can have a great escape even in the midst of ot all. Some people say, Bali is like Ibiza, with better beach

A pleasurable assault on the senses
I kid my wife that the reason she wanted to go to Bali for our honeymoon was that, if we went any further away we would be closer to home. Visiting Bali was a pleasurable assault on the senses; The colors, the aromas, the architecture, the serenity and deep peaceful look in the eyes of of the island's inhabitants combined to to make our visit unforgettable. Definitely a must visit.

This feeling of 'difference'
I have been to Bali numerous times on shoestring surfing trips and most recently with my young family. Somehow Bali manages to be everything to everyone who visits. When the plane door first opens on arrival, your senses are hit with a barrage of heat, colour, smells and sound. This feeling of ‘difference’ quickly gives way to a wonderful sense of well-being, familiarity and homecoming. The resilient people, gentle culture and the natural beauty of the island make Bali my Lovemark.

Beautiful would be an understatement.
The island is otherwise known as The Island of the Gods. To say that Bali is beautiful would be an understatement. To me it was love at first sight. I was captivated. I spent 6 months in the island and I got hooked, line and sinker. If you haven't been there, then you don't know what you are missing.
