  • An oasis

Let's face it: American radio is a wasteland. WFUV is a wonderful oasis. If you had a complete collection of music, including every new artist who will never get air play anywhere, your stereo would sound like WFUV. Bravo!

  • At its best

WFUV-FM, college radio at its best. Based in Fordham University in NYC it is the Voice of Fordham University. You can hear a blend of Americana, Country, Zyedco, Rock and every other genre of music out there. Where else can you hear Townes Van Zandt back to back with Frank Sinatra or John Gorka, Hank Williams and Jason Mraz. It was on WFUV that Norah Jones had her radio debut and was put on the road to Grammy history. There is also the Grateful dead hour, world music Celtic music and NPR news. It is by far the best music being played over the New York City airwaves and the world wide web. It's called having something for everyone.
