  • One word - RESPECT

Subaru, or affectionately known as 'my subbie' by so many adventure adrenaline seeking Kiwis. In many ways is the ultimate in cost/benefit analysis. However the car and its history is more than that, it is a sense of identity to an adventure loving nation. You drive a subaru, do you do this for status or keeping up with the Jones's? You see a 1980 subaru wagon on the way up to the ski field - one word - RESPECT! I know you do drive one because your heart tells you to drive the car - its pure passion baby!!

  • Hope she lasts for another 100,000 miles!

Over 130,000 miles and she is still going strong! I love my Subaru and can't imagine driving anything else. I've had other kinds of cars, but once I bought this Legacy wagon (2nd hand no less), I have no desire for anything else. I treat her with the greatest care and hope she lasts for another 100,000 miles!

  • Subaru means passion

Subaru means passion. Pure passion without compromises. If you want to feel the pleasure of driving, the road and the car all this combined with a beatiful and unique engine-sound, drive a Subaru. There exists two types of humans: those who know that they are alive and those who feel it (in a Subaru).

  • Visually pleasing and an awesome machine

This is one of the most amazing cars ever made. It's both visually pleasing and an awesome machine on the road. It has the unique Boxer Engine and the best sound ever. The interior was very well designed too, it just suits the shape of the car.

  • The pleasantest of ways

My parents have always trusted Subaru, so I went for an Impreza for my first car two years ago. The one I got was from an auction, 145,000 miles, and with a broken cassette player. But man does she go! A few minor repairs, a new CD player and ten thousand miles later there’s no sign of stopping. She doesn't leak, or complain, she's peppy and she hums in the pleasantest of ways. I didn't have a warranty, or a fancy guarantee- I got a great car instead. I think the trade off is pretty good.

  • The best ride in all weather

After driving an SUV for 120,000 miles, I needed a smaller and more fuel efficient car. Of all the cars in its price range, the Subaru had the best ride in all weather. Smooth and surprisingly big, I will forever be a Subaru driver.
