It was simply perfect!
It started in the year 2001. I was an exchange student in the US, and was very afraid that I would put on a lot of weight. The only sweet thing I ate in the first few months was Ben & Jerry’s! I have loved ice cream since forever, and I’m a kind of expert between family and friends, but this surprised me. It was simply perfect! You didn’t have to settle with one taste. It was all mixed, and pieces of chocolate and fruits and sauces, and...a sweets expert cannot wish for more! Since then, whenever we go abroad with my sister, if we see the B&J’s cow, we cannot stop ourselves. It doesn’t matter if we’re hungry or not. It just doesn’t matter. We HAVE to buy some! Why can’t we get it in Hungary??!! COME ON!!!

An ice cream that relates to me
I adore Ben and Jerry Ice Cream.I love Chunky Monkey! I love the style. It's so original and the ice cream is extremely tasty. I used to love Baskin Robbins until I found an ice cream that seemed to relate to my way of thinking and my sense of humour! In fact, we recently had an internal finance project and used ice cream names to describe the different levels of priority or difficulty. The project was finally named "Project Ben and Jerry"! All this down to my love of the ice cream!

I'm never in danger of running out
There are never less than 2 pints of Ben & Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk in my freezer. There have to be 2 so I'm never in danger of running out. It's the best ice cream on the market, and it's not only delicious, but they only use milk that doesn't contain rGHB!"

I love the company's history.
I love Ben & Jerry's creativity and quality standards. I love the company's history; how Ben & Jerry started the ice creamery and fought against the big 'enemy'. Unfortunately, they are now part of one. Anyway, one condition was to donate a certain percentage of turnover - good on them!

Most delicious and euphoric ice creams
I have been smitten with the most delicious and euphoric ice creams from Ben & Jerry's since living in London a few years ago. It was almost worth not coming home for! The flavours are the best, the packaging is great and a sense of humour tops it all off. Why can't you come to New Zealand? If you get the chance you must try this stuff, hell, have a tub for me!

Peace Pops entered my life
Ben & Jerry's Peace Pops entered my life during the first year of my second marriage. My husband and I each contributed three hyperactive, insecure and demanding children. It was a circus! While we waded through that first year of trying to convince each little dear that we loved him or her to distraction, we occasionally slipped away to the local market for Cherry Garcia Frozen Yogurt Peace Pops. We sat in the car together and decompressed, reminding ourselves that we loved them and each other, and that we only had ten more years until the last one would be old enough to leave the nest!

My taste buds never get tired
When I purchased my first tub of Ben & Jerry's ice cream, it was the Chunky Monkey flavour. Let me tell you, this was the richest, creamiest, and absolutely the best tasting ice cream I have ever eaten. The wacky flavour combination was so interesting that I finished my first tub within an hour. I've since moved from flavour to flavour, and my taste buds never get tired. They are always anxious for more. Ben & Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk is now my number one comfort food. After a long day of school work and meetings, there is nothing better than going home, opening the fridge, and savouring bite after bite of Ben & Jerry's superb ice cream.

Little to no guilt
There is nothing better than knowing that one can finish an entire pint of low-fat chocolate fudge brownie with little to no guilt. All flavors of Ben & Jerry's ice cream are truly comfort food.

Encouraging this style of business
This is really, really good ice cream. Every mouthful is interesting. I love all the extra bits and bobs, nuts and chunks and sauces, that add texture. Probably my favourite flavours are Cherry Garcia and Karmel Sutra. Getting hungry just writing this... Also, it does make you feel good to know that this is a socially responsible company, who care about their employees and the environment. I know that in buying it I'm encouraging this style of business.

A way of life
I love, love, love this ice cream. This is a brand that wasn't afraid to embrace famous musicians and tv shows to help promote their yummy ice cream. Cherry "Garcia" (my personal favorite) was a homage to Jerry Garcia, "Phish" food a nod to the band Phish and another favorite of mine "Festivus" which is a delightful reference to Seinfeld - and a holiday for the rest of us! God bless Ben and Jerry for showing that a brand doesn't have to embrace the largest audience possible. They can get by just fine catering to the nuts that love their "pistachio" and every other flavorful ice cream. Ben and Jerry's surpasses an ice cream brand and have become a way of life!
