  • Burton has truly transcended Brandom

I am continually trying to explain the Zen like feeling of snowboarding to those that have not experienced it. You can't do it. But, you can tell the people at Burton are intimately familiar with this feeling. Their products and customer service are beyond compare. Their "Burton Speak" is quirky. Their ads are compelling (they make me wish I was riding). All that, and their founder, Jake, rides all the time. Burton has truly transcended Brandom.

  • Sour

I used to love Burton as a brand, but the more I got to know the people behind it, the more the arrogance turned the image sour, like milk left in the sun. It's amazing to me how many killer brands are backed by people who are nearly impossible to like. That ruins it for me.

  • Embarking on a new adventure

The founder and owner of the world's leading snowboarding company, Jake Burton's name is synonymous with snowboarding. Jake's influence on the sport of snowboarding is unrivalled. Since 1977, his company has supported the best riders in the world and created snowboarding gear that sets the standards for the rest of the industry. This season, Jake is embarking on a new adventure. He and his family plan to follow winter around the globe for ten months, snowboarding on six continents and testing plenty of Burton products along the way. This is the Burton Spirit.

  • Still in love with my Burton

Burton Snowboards. The industry standard since Day One. I always wanted a Burton, but went through three other boards and brands before I felt I had reached the level and earned the right (and the money) to ride a Burton. I am still in Love with my Burton Supermodel 168 that I bought in '99. Blue, sleek, long - the ultimate powder board. Not for tricks & treats. For big mountains, steep hills, narrow chutes. For the outdoors. Which I love.

  • All about the spirit

So many try-hards come out with gimics and gizmos, but I don't have time for that. In contrast, Burton's all about the snowboarding spirit. Yeah, they come out with new stuff every year - but the difference is that it works!
