  • Got to Ride

I just took delivery of my Bike Friday Air Glide. This is my 3rd Bike Friday. So that should tell you what I feel about Bike Fridays. They are the best!!! Great customer service and outstanding bicycles. Now I’ve got to RIDE!

  • A company with a big heart

Bike Friday is a company with a big heart. The idea that a simple bicycle can be made better by making it able to be taken more places easier makes so much sense. The employees are happy, the bike owners are happy, the stock holders are happy, and the world is a better place because of Bike Friday. With a vision for the future, Bike Friday is poised to achieve greatness. The principles that drive them are honorable and inspiring. They walk the talk in many ways. The product, a beautifully simple bicycle that folds to be taken anywhere more easily, and still rides so well that many of their owners choose to make them their favorite among other standard bikes, is just amazing. Here’s to Bike Friday for being a part of the solution.

  • Fails at customer service!

BF fails at customer service! From there hush hush recall in 2004 with problems of failing seat tubes to ordering a bike with incompetent bike order specialists. Even trying to order simple replacement tires/tubes becomes a problem for BF. Understand that these problems start from the top down. When approached they will say they don’t want your business if you don’t like it!! Upgrade parts in building your custom bikes? You will be charged MSRP. Unheard of in the bike industry from a bike builder.

  • Handled the nearly 5,000 mile 90-day trip with aplomb

I bought a Bike Friday so I could do some riding while on plane and sailing trips. It suited me so well that when I decided to take a cross-country cycling trip in the summer of 2004, my Bike Friday became the cycle of choice, even though my particular model- the Pocket Rocket - wasn’t designed for loaded touring. But it handled the nearly 5,000 mile 90-day trip with aplomb. Now, it’s still serving me well in the purpose for which it was purchased, frequently going with me as I travel.

  • It allows me to see places that I'd miss

I bought my NWT about a year ago - and love it. I have a back problem and can't walk any distance, thus, I take my BikeFriday everywhere as transportation. It allows me to see places that I'd miss if I ony had my old bicycle.

  • Solid joy

My Bike Friday has been liberating for me when my wife and I travel. After experiencing a disc problem in my back, my running days were over. I tried the conventional bike travel process but found it unwieldy. I researched folding bikes on the web and settled on a Pocket Rocket Pro. It is an exhilirating feeling to walk my Bike Friday through a hotel lobby and experience a ride in a new city. Of course, people turn and stare; and that spurs me on to a greater workout. The Bike Friday makes traveling and a cardiovascular workout available anywhere I travel. Even though the travel case is bigger than packing my running shoes, the experiences and sites you can see on a Bike Friday are solid joy.

  • Out of love

Our first Bike Friday, a Family Tandem, was purchased based on the respect of our local bike dealer. We reminisce about the 6’6” dad up front and the 8 year-old daughter in the rear… the first screaming downhill, the long rides with the ocean breeze, the snack bar, the tiny stereo playing Elton John. Our next three Bike Fridays – Air Glides – were love purchases. Love of the idea, the lines, the innovation – then… the ride, the fit and those cute little wheels. But they’re just tools to get around. Bike Fridays just do cool tricks! After our family rode our Bike Fridays across America (www.pedal2paradise.com) in 2001, we ditched our car – out of love… love for ourselves, our neighbors, our planet, and, yes, our Bike Fridays. It’s the scene behind the bikes that keeps us connected: Make the world a better place by empowering people through cycling.

  • Seeking customer orientation

I like the bike I purchased from BF. However, dealing with BF turned out to be one of the worst customer oriented experiences I have had. There have been several quality control issues that I have had to deal with on my own. I have informed them of my problems and had NO response!

  • I take Friday with me wherever I go

If only every day could be Friday - everyone longs for the day of the week that signifies being able to do the things we work for and enjoy in life. Now I don't have to anticipate and long for Friday... it's Friday everyday on my bike! And because it travels I can take Friday with me wherever I go.

  • Truly communicate

My Bike Friday Family Tandem is a flying carpet of great magic, the perfect solution to the eternal quest of doing something with your kids where you can both have fun and truly communicate. My rides with my son (14 now, 8 when we bought the bike) on our Family Tandem are the BEST, absolutely the best memories he and I have. We've had a complete Blast! on this bike - physically close enough to talk and hear well (and conspire), with the bicycling effortlessly filling any gaps in conversation. I’ve learned everything about my son by being close enough to hear as his thoughts and impressions burble out during long Family Tandem rides. So many times, it was just we in our own world, father and son on the Red Bike. Bike Friday is my Lovemark.
