Maranui Surf Life Saving Club is a lifesaving club with cafe on Lyall Bay Beach, Wellington New Zealand. It was first established in 1911.

Warms your heart
Not until Maranui was ravaged by fire last week did I truly realise how much it meant. It's a familiar space with familiar faces, perched right on the beach, brimming with love and delicious food - not to mention the divine coffee. While it's being rebuilt, I can't help feeling like a close friend has just passed. Maranui SLSC and Cafe - a refuge from the screaming southerlies and surf, where the coffee and the people warm your heart.
