Great stories and plots
There isn't anything that hasn't been said. Every one of these notes made by people before me, I can relate to. Great stories and plots. "Tintin and the Golden Fleece" was one of my favourite movies.

An intelligent way to know the world
I was first introduced to Tintin at the age of six by my Dad when we were in India as a visual way to practice English and an intelligent way to know the world! Throughout the years I grew up with Tintin and got to know the world through Tintin. My perfect day is me and all Tintin books! I just love Tintin! And Snowy, Captain Haddock, the Thom(p)sons, Prof. Calculus - and the whole Tintin world!

Great adventure, humour, friendship and mystery
Tintin was my favourite childhood friend , but at the age of 40 he has also become a much loved part of my adulthood. Many times through the year I will pick up one of the books and read it probably for the 100th time. I always see something new in them, and always lose myself again in a world of great adventure, humour, friendship and mystery.

Wishing I could be there
Tin Tin is my childhood. The brave young boy with interesting friends and a loyal dog. He always makes the right decision, does the right thing and says the right words. I had the whole collection and read each hardcover book hundreds of times. Holding one in my hands now I go two decades back, I am the same young girl who wishes she could be there in the stories.

Hours of wonderment
Herge created Tintin with the fine attention to detail and craftsmanship that truly enables a new world of adventure to strike root and bloom in the imaginations of young children all over the world. The hours of wonderment spent in the quests of Tintin & company have had a formative influence in shaping the quests of many a youth!

I remember ...
When I was a young boy, I remember Tintin books as special objects, full of adventures, far away places, mysteries. I spent hours reading those hard cover and colorful big books. Now, I have a warm feeling for all Tintin's characters, and I realise that, as we now have a special Euro coin In his honour he remains an important personality. Salut Tintin!
