Ultimate chic and practical

Maclarens are the quintessential strollers: ultimate chic and practical. They definitely have flair with their stylish colors, especially compared to your average object in the baby category. And their design is not only beautiful but functional: lightweight, agile, rock-solid. I can remember as a child my mother walking me along in a light blue and white striped Maclaren. I must have been everywhere in Paris in this - as later on did my sister. And now, almost 30 years later, I'm so proud to be striding all along Manhattan with my baby girl comfortably seated in our black and red stroller. My wife and I are almost fighting to be the one pushing her. Maclaren is probably the first brand (Lovemark!) which I have been exposed to and which I can remember. And now, I feel it's like a club - I'm not the only parent checking other strollers and giving or receiving an approving nod when noticing a fellow Maclaren pusher. They even have fashion designer models. I couldn't see the point in spending more for one of those, but if Paul Smith were to produce one with his famous stripes, I'd go for it for the next baby!
