The foundation of my music culture
I was born in 1963 and have grown up near the juke box of my grandfather’s bar near Bergamo, in Italy. The Beatles’ songs have been the foundation of my music culture ... better...they’ve been my first emotions from the music world. When I listen now to a great song from other bands, I can live a specific period of my life again (when I was 15 or 30 for example). When I listen to a great song from the Liverpool quartet such as Get Back, The Long and Winding Road, or Can’t Buy Me Love, it seems to me to live several seasons of my life at the same time. I am feeling like an 8 year old boy, or a teenager, or a 44 year old man as I am now. And in case that song is Let It Be, I seem to pilot a spaceship in 2846...in fact that song is for the universe, that song is forever! (Quite proud my two young daughters are required to select the Beatles CDs...while driving my car nowadays !)

Beatles magic is alive. And love never dies.
The Beatles wrote the soundtrack of my youth. Recently, my niece, Hope, who is 12, was reading a book about John Lennon and played Beatles songs on her guitar. So they are now the soundtrack of her youth, too. Beatles magic is alive. And love never dies.

The Beatles is the single most influencial band of all time. Their music still tops the charts, even 20 years after the band ceased to be. When each of the members of a band are pop-culture icons, you know a band is worthy of being a Lovemark. The Beatles started a revolution in music that is still bring fought today.

A strong relationship
Everyone already knows that the Beatles were amazingly talented and inspired so many musicians around the world. Without them Australian rock music would have been the passing phase that most of the older generation in the early 60's thought it was. Personally I was raised on The Beatles. The first song my dad ever played when my mum got home from the hospital was a Beatles song, the first CD I was given was Abbey Road from my dad (I was three!). I have formed a strong relationship with my dad due to our mutual love of The Beatles music and without them I doubt that we would have such a strong relationship. The music of the Beatles touched us all. Their music is pure magic and provides the soundtrack to our lives. Music would be nowhere without the Beatles.
