Mark Knopfler is a British guitarist, singer, songwriter and film score composer. He is best-known as the lead guitarist and vocalist for the rock band, Dire Straits.

The best among the lot
He was the one to whom I listened first when I started listening to English music. It's been many years since. My preferences have changed but Mark and his band are still there on my favourites list. What I like most about him is the freshness and style of storytelling. How can one forget about Romeo & Juliet? Love you Mark. Your are the best among the lot.

Really makes me dream
Mark Knopfler is one of the few musicians (and composers) that really makes me dream. With his music, I travel overseas and like Marco Polo I meet the new, the unknown and the amazing. Thumbs up and long live Mark!
