Big Red is a brand of soda pop available in the United States. The brand was established in Texas in 1937 by Grover Thomsen and R.H. Roark.

Wonderfully tastes RED
Big Red soda / soft drink / pop fueled my childhood. As I grew up, I discovered to my sadness that it was a regional beverage not available everywhere. That simply made the hunt for it all the more special. When travelling, I would stop in White Castle restaurants for it and stock up in convenience stores and even grocery stores that stocked it. I saved one can for over a year and had it, not alcohol, to celebrate the new millenium. Some might think it tastes like cough syrup or a specific berry, but I think it wonderfully tastes RED.
