Cirque du Soleil
Cirque du Soleil was formed in 1984 by a troupe of street performers known as "Le Club des Talons Hauts" (the high-heels club). Now as individual performers they are still united by one overriding goal: to entertain, uplift and enlighten people the world over.

Changed what we call a circus
My first show was their first show in NYC. I was instantly mesmerized by the commercial and purchased tickets right after the commercial. I wanted to be in that world...NOW...Once you enter the yellow tents you are apart of their world. The clowns come out before the show as you are sitting down, they serve as almost like an appetizer, cleansing and preparing your palette and mind as they instanly usher out your concerns, stress, or whatever you might have brought in with you in order to prepare you for the main course, the show. Since that time, I have seen almost every show and they have yet to dissappoint. They have changed what we call a circus by their non use of animals and have made us, the human form the most facinating, funny, sensuous, mesmerizing, inspiring instrument to admire and be in awe of. They continue to push the limits of human entertainment on every level.

Food for the imagination!
To relate it to business, this is really thinking "out of the box"! The creative energy, lack of restraint, and freedom of expression is awe inspiring. To combine such an avant-garde presentation with such precision and dedication is truly something to behold. If you haven't seen a show, go. Open your eyes and your mind and enjoy the ride. Call it food for the imagination!

Mind and body
Cirque du Soleil’s creative vision fills me with wonder and enchantment. I’m transported by their music, costumes, characters, and performances to a magical place, somewhere amazing. It feeds my soul and excites my senses. Whenever I see a show, I am inspired by what the human body can do and what the human mind can create. The highly imaginative performances enrich and transform me.

Obsessive... in a good way
A whole lot of energy and creativity goes into creating their shows - and to me it shows! The attention to detail is obsessive in a good way. I just look at the smiling faces before a show, and the even bigger ones afterwards, and the positive energy is simply infectious - I know.
