  • Keep up the great work

I nominate the company J.Crew. I am a huge fan, as are millions of people throughout the world. I love the amazing customer service that J.Crew provides. Not at any other retail store do I have employees actually wanting to help me in my hunt for the most fabulous outfit. The sales associates are always polite, cheerful, and well-informed about the J.Crew products. They give you bottles of water while you undergo the workout that is trying on clothes, set up the dressing room in an organized manner, and even sometimes offer to help carry your bags to your car if you have an abundant amount. Also, the quality of the clothing, fabric, and attention to details is immaculate. The cashmere is the softest, the jeans have the best dyes, and the shoes and bags made out of the best Italian leather. I recommend J.Crew to anyone and everyone. Now, that pertains to children as well as dogs, with J.Crew’s new lines: CrewCuts for children, and CrewMutts for dogs. Keep up the great work J.Crew, LOVE IT!

  • A few great differentiating factors

    J. Crew has a few great differentiating factors that keep it at the top of my list when it’s time to shop. One of which is service - something I am finding less and less at the average American mall. Although J. Crew leans toward the more expensive end spectrum (compared to the likes of GAP and American Eagle), if you add the service and experience into the equation, the price doesn’t seem to hit as hard. Walking into J. Crew, an employee always acknowledges you – a novel idea that seems to be fading fast. It is all about going the extra mile, and J. Crew does a decent job in going there. For instance, you are kindly offered assistance and your purchases are wrapped nicely to take home. To me, a Lovemark is the culmination of little things that remind you why you enjoy a company.

  • How great is that?

Where I live there is not a J Crew nearby, however their catalogue is especially helpful. They have a program where you can even have your very own personal shopper. They help me with great outfits, looking for items I thought were sold out and letting me know in advance about new items coming out. How great is that?

  • Sheer joy

Sure, I could go to a less expensive place to shop, but there's something so classic, clean, and simple about J Crew. When other clothing companies were selling the latest fad, I could always count on finding a peacoat or classic crew-neck sweater in the J Crew catalog. My sister, another J Crew addict, walked into a J Crew store in town during the Christmas rush and sighed, "I love walking into this store. It's so calm in here." I cannot describe the sheer joy experienced in our family upon hearing that a J Crew store was finally opening in our town.

  • Classic style

I've posted about J Crew before, but I love both the catalog and the store. I can't usually bring myself to buy the higher priced items, but when I do, they last longer than the lower priced counterparts. I have had one of their coats for years now, and it still looks new. You can't beat the selection and the classic style. J Crew just doesn't go out of style.

  • Everyone has a story

I remember the first time I stepped into a J.Crew store I was a little intimidated by the look and the whole style. That all soon changed. In no time soon I had about five to six pairs of chino's in diffrent shades and colors, and wall to wall polos in every color imaginable. All faded and washed out, but everyone has a story.
