961 Beer is a Lebanese brand of beer. It is Lebanon's only microbrewery and is owned by Mazen Hajjar.

About beating the odds
961 Beer is a new Lebanese beer brewed by 5 young guys. They started in July 2006 during the Israeli siege on Beirut. Up until 961 Beer came on the market there had been only one Lebanese beer brand (Almaza). Really it's all about beating the odds or at least being ballsy enough to try.
