Brings me back to a happy place
When I think about the things that I love in life, the list is one that could stretch from the Swiss Alps to Tiananmen Square in China. To minimize this list I thought about things that make me feel great, and shoes seemed to pop into the lead in that category. Now I love shoes of all kinds but Converse Chuck Taylors seemed to be a long-lasting tradition not only in my life, but also in American Culture. Chuck Taylors are the most successful shoe in history and are worn by people of all ages, shapes, races and cultures. My 1st pair of shoes that I bought on my own was a pair of red Converse Chucks and the legacy has followed me to this day. Chuck Taylors are used in many facets from sporting shoes to the typical every day foot attire. Chuck Taylor represent American History from their 1st inception in 1917. Chuck Taylor All-Star shoes bring me back to a happy place where life is nothing but another day in the park.

A whole new world of pleasure
Tripping the light fantastique, I recall trotting through the mud of a large outdoor concert festival not having a care in the world, when I looked down upon my feet and saw a paint splash on my Converse toe, a dirty reminder that let me know in that instance that I was a member of the cool jerks. Something about the assortment of grime on my shoes granted me the respect I always desired. My white Chucks with red and blue stripes provided a whole new world of pleasure.

Holds ton of memories for me
In the most important moments in my life, I was wearing a pair of Converse low tops. I would not want it any other way. These shoes hold tons of memories for me. Once you break them in, there is nothing more comfortable and fashionable to wear.

They are the bomb!
Last year when our company changed uniform shirts to red, I knew exactly what shoes I had to get to go with them. Converse Allstars in red, but I couldn’t find them right away. I finally found them on my company’s website and they are the bomb! Everyone thinks they are funky! I love my Allstars Oxfords.

A brand of shoe that I relate to above and beyond
Converse All Star sneakers first grabbed my attention when I was 16 and discovered The Ramones. From thereon, Converse seemed to me to reflect an anarchism and streetwise cool. To this day, Converse are still reflected in pop culture that I relate to - worn by Clive Owen's character in the "Sin City" movie adaptation, for example. The people and products associated with Converse reflect many of my interests and attitude towards life generally: do it with attitude, but do it in comfort! It's a brand of shoe that I relate to above and beyond the standard concepts of consumerisation. It's high street cred without the fuss.

The absolute staple of my wardrobe
The absolute staple of my wardrobe. They come in myriad of colours, can be fun and funky or cool and understated. They look great when you first buy them and even better when you've worn them in and bashed them up. The Jack Purcells are great but for classic style: Boys, girls, sportsters and rock stars - The Converse All Star is the footwear of choice.
