Palin's Travels are the essence of sensuality, mystery and intimacy in both the travel sense and about the man himself. Palin brings humility and joy to the viewing, a sense of humour with sensitivity, drawing us into the magic and mystery of places not always found in the classic travel brochure. For me Palin's Travels are ethnography in action. Enjoyable exploration and mystery - leading me to wonder further about the man himself and his evident regard for humanity and culture; leading me to wonder what experience is just around the corner.
