Selling more than just a shoe
It appears that a great deal of creative input went into developing the look and feel of this website. Take, for instance, the photo of the vintage soccer ball and the shoe (under the "Philosophy" section). It conveys so much about what the brand stands for: a marriage between traditional values and craftsmanship and contemporary styling. With a relatively simple and clean layout coupled with exceptional vintage and vibrant photographs, Bontoni done a an exceptional job at communicated the essence and core of its product. Bontoni is selling more than just a shoe, they are selling an experience and style that is emblematic of Marcello Mastroianni era. These shoes are unique and individual. Viva Italia!

Time-honored creative process
These shoes (and website) appear to capture the elegance of yesterday. Bontoni has done a remarkable way evoking its time-honored creative process as well as graceful and classic Italian styling. Thanks to Bontoni-and a small handful of other small cobblers-there still is a culture of fashion geared towards individual style and word-of-mouth rather than mass-luxury. It’s comforting to know that some things have remained the same.

Bontoni is a very exclusive Italian brand that makes high-end men’s dress shoes. The shoes are sold in selective stores of the ilk of Bergdorf Goodman, NYC. In Italy, you can only get them if you go to their small workshop. The website is a fantastic homage to timeless Italian elegance, craftsmanship, heritage and quality.
