Transports me every time

In a 5-star hotel bathroom; a spa shower with a view of the Deschutes River; or my chartreuse tiled bathtub...wherever I am when I open that new box of Caress, my thoughts are the same. Age 13, when my mother & I visited the store for “first day of school” supplies and, for the first time, the list included toiletries (we were now required to shower after gym). Traumatic, for me, but my mother felt it was a sign of womanhood and allowed me to choose the bath-soap. I chose Caress. The pink box was, “oh! So feminine,” the casual script “Caress,” so Adult. Once home, I revealed the shapely bar in the privacy of my bedroom, the scent of my blossoming sensuality forever tied to this bar of soap. Today, at 35, I feel there is nothing like a virgin Caress, the feminine fragrance right-out-of-the-box transports me every time.
